Data Error Reading Drive C
This problem is normally caused by some damages on the hard drive and to fix the problem, you mostly like have to do the following:
1. Re-start your computer and press F8 before the computer loads the operating system.
2. With that, a menu will appear and the easiest way is to select Command Prompt Only.
3. Then at the command prompt, run the command “scandisk” to scan the disk and it should be able to repair the damages.
4. Then also run the command “scanreg” to scan the registry and repair the damages if any.
Hope this helps to sort out your problem, if anything else. Feel free to use the comments below this.
